NHS 60th Birthday 2008
This year a limited edition book ‘Celebrating 60 years of the National Health Service’ was published. It featured “some of the world’s best practice organisation”and was sent by the NHS to every UK MP, senior Government official, Local Health and Education authorities, Universities, NHS trusts, PCTs, Emergency Services, CEOs and the chairs of FTSE 350 and Times Top 1000 companies and widely throughout the Health industry. The daysoft(R) team was delighted to be part of this prestigious publication and to be recognised in this way by the NHS.
I was particularly pleased to be featured in an article on my involvement in the development of daily disposable contact lenses and the full article will be posted on the daysoft website later this month and an extract from the book (in miniature form!) will be included in Orders for daysoft being despatched from mid November 2008.
By only producing daily-disposable contact lenses (the healthiest type of contact lens wear) we underline our total commitment to demonstrating ‘best practice’ in the all-important field of vision care.
